NOMA provides a representative at meetings of the State Board of Osteopathic Medicine.

Continuing Medical Education

By attending either of the CME conferences held annually at Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas, NOMA members earn the full 30 hours required each year to maintain their licenses as required by the state of Nevada. As an education provider, the conference is accredited by AOA.
Each year, the State of Nevada conducts a random verification of CMEs earned; checking one-third of the licensed D.O.s for compliance, NOMA will provide the information directly to the State Board for members who have been selected for audit.

Networking and Public Awareness

Through NOMA, you will join physicians from throughout the state at events planned to encourage fraternity and build networks among primary care and specialists.
NOMA hosts a variety of events including:

NOMA members have the opportunity to take part in community coalitions and activities that make osteopathic medicine known and valued. NOMA members, through the Association, take part in several leadership conferences a year, creating more opportunities for political and fraternal contacts.
